I've been using Donna's Recipe since it launched. This product line is a staple in my wash day routine and consistently gives me my best hair days. I even use the shampoo and creamy hair oil to maintain my son's locs. Thank you Donna and Tab!

I wore my wash and go for almost a week. I had soft hold and hydration..and the smell is amazing!

I’ve always had thick hair. I got my first relaxer at 3 years old because I was very tender headed & would pull out my back edges. My hair was always healthy for majority of my life, but law school was very stressful & I ended up on medication that took my hair out. I stopped getting relaxers and started getting knotless braids to transition. I use the nut free, light strength oil once a week. These results from April 2023 to September 2024 are supernatural & I am so very grateful. The Bible says that the hairs on our head our numbered (Luke 12:7). I prayed, trusted the process, and stayed consistent. Thank you so much, “Auntie Tab,” for helping restore my crown.

First time doing a wash and go and I was shocked by the results. These products gave a great hold without stripping away moisture. No flakes at all and I’m impressed. I’m a huge fan and will be purchasing in the future. This is a pic of fresh day 1 hair (still drying).

Donna Recipe is a Blessing from God! My Curls are Defined & Popping with Volume!! I Love the Moisture & Softness of my Hair~

I used Donna's system to kickstart my journey back to wearing my natural hair after a long battle with thyroid cancer, hormone issues and early menopause which all brought major changes to my hair. As you can see I had a hard time maintaining curl as a low porosity , fine type 2B/2C with a little 3A mixed in. I also have to be careful not to layer too many butters and oils,but the hair and scalp oil in particular is something I use on my scalp and ends even when I don't use heavier products. You can see the difference in the earlier photos of the loose wave and stringy texture - you can literally watch it transform back to spirals, ringlets and beachy waves.

What works best for me for and make work best for my fellow low porosity curlies is to alternate Donna's system with a chelating/clarifying shampoo so you can keep really absorbing the goodness of the delicious hydrating ingredients.

My son and I have curly hair, but much looser curl patterns (3b/3c) than sweet Donna. My hair gets dry, flat and lifeless during winter and every year I try different products hoping to find something that will keep it hydrated, not weight it down or make it greasy. Enter Donna’s Recipe!! After a late night impulse purchase, the products showed up. The smell is like heaven and my hair LOVES it. It’s soft, it’s happy, I have ringlets again, and it isn’t greasy. With a little water and maybe a smidge of leave in, I have gone 5-6 days between shampoos easily and still have curls every day. The only reason I did shampoo on the 6th day was because I wanted to smell the shampoo and conditioner again!
My son used it and said it smells like Nilla Wafers. His only complaint is his hair got shorter because his curls tightened up!
