So, picture this: Yesterday, I'm strolling out of Home Goods, minding my own business, when BAM! A lady stops me, laser-focused on my hair. Next thing I know, I'm full-on channeling my inner Tabitha Brown, complete with the "Well honey come on!" – which, let's be real, is NOT my usual vernacular. My daughter, Brie Turner, was recently crowned Miss Black Maryland and she sent Donna's Recipe a video of her using the product during her campaign. I purchased the entire line for her as a Christmas gift. She used this product in the attached photos as she made her 1st public appearance of 2025. It was windy, but once the wind subsided, those curls went right back in place. She also uses your products when she performs with Step Afrika. Would Donna's Recipe consider sponsorship as she runs for Miss Black USA ? The pageant takes place in August 2025.

I'm always trying new products for my very short, colored hair so I wanted to try Tab's products also. I'm as happy with this product as I am with some other products I already use. Combined with the mousse, my curls pop and my hair is not left stiff when the products dry. I'm still a little frizzy by the end of the day though. The fragrance is light, not overpowering.

I absolutely loved this hair gel! It doesn’t flake my hair up at all or leave it stiff.i like that I can use it in conjunction with the vanilla mousse! Definitely recommend it to anyone! I’m 4a-4B suffering from minimal heat damage in the front!
