Great Product

I had already left a review that the Whipped Vanilla Cream Heat Protectant Spray & the Sweet Potato Pie Leave In Conditioner can be heavy on my hair when I wear a straight natural style. I found that if I use a small amount of the leave in conditioner & the Whipped Vanilla Cream Heat Protectant Spray without any other products I get better results. With just those two products I was able to wear my straight natural style for 2 weeks. I will definitely purchase these products again!

Heat Protectant Spray

I did the big chop in 2019 to go natural. My hair started growing back healthy and I did not want to use any heat on my hair. Well six years later I decided to give it a try once I saw Donna released a heat protectant spray and I do believe in her products. I’m happy to say I was very pleased with the results. 😄

Arrived empty

I have used these products since the line started with the hair oil. This was the first time I purchased this particular product and, unfortunately, the cap was not screwed on properly during shipping and the bottle was completely empty, having spilled all over everything else in the shipment

NO MORE FRIZZ

I purchased the mousse, gel and heat protector. While I don't use heat I purchased it because it said it prevented FRIZZ, which was a major issue for me. Started out the day looking cute and one wave of humidity and I looked unkept. Welp NO FRIZZ after all day and sleeping on it. I don't even have to apply multiple times. Just once when I wash and set on my rods. I love the edge gel too. About to order shampoo and conditioner. Thanks Ms. Donna for being so aggressive with your demands for hydrating controlling product!!! 🤣

I found the right products!

After over 50 years of permed hair, I went natural.This is my 3rd year of natural hair and I initially had no luck finding the right products until I tried Donna's Recipe. Time to throw out the old baby because the shampoo, conditioner, curl enhancing gel & mouse keep my hair conditioned & textured perfectly. I highly recommend for your natural hair needs!

Entire Sweet Potato Pie Products and Whipped Vanilla Cream Product line

During Black Friday I purchased both Sweet Potato Pie Products and Whipped Vanilla Cream Product line. I used all of the products on my hair and did a no heat roller set on my 4c textured hair. This picture is showing three weeks of the roller set from 12/27/2024 through 01/12/2025. The other picture is an quick updo on today 01/22/2025. For the updo I sprayed some water on my hair, used sweet potato pie leave in conditioner, sweet potato pie hair and scalp oil, whipped vanilla cream curl enhancer and whipped vanilla cream edge control to achieve this look.

I LOVE Tabitha Brown and Donna’s Recipe did not disappoint! I washed my grand princess’s hair with the sweet potato shampoo and conditioner followed by application of the leave in conditioner.
