5 Hair Friendly Foods

On your next run to the grocery store, don't forget to stock up on some of these hair friendly foods that are good on the inside and some good on the outside for a good ole' homemade hair mask.  Here are 5 hair friendly foods.  If you know of anymore good hair foods, share in the comments below.  Love you.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes not only make your favorites dishes taste better but they are also good for your skin and hair if applied topically. They are rich in vitamins and minerals such as A, B, C, and E that are essential for your hair growth. Tomatoes reduce your hair fall, add shine to the strands and help fight dandruff.

Avocado

Avocado is a great source of biotin, and adding this B-complex vitamin back into the diet may help hair to grow more healthily. A study found that minerals in avocado oil, including potassium and magnesium, may seal cuticle cells, which can help hair look smooth and shiny and prevent it from breaking.

 Berries

Berries are loaded with beneficial compounds and vitamins that may promote hair growth. This includes vitamin C, which has strong antioxidant properties. Also, the body uses vitamin C to produce collagen, a protein that helps strengthen hair to prevent it from becoming brittle and breaking.

 Spinach

Spinach is a healthy green vegetable that's loaded with beneficial nutrients like folate, iron, and vitamins A and C, all of which may promote hair growth. Vitamin A helps the skin glands produce sebum. This oily substance helps moisturize the scalp to keep hair healthy.

 Sweet potatoes

Did you know that sweet potatoes are a rich source or iron, copper, potassium, magnesium and beta-carotene. Beta-carotene aids cell growth, prevent hair thinning and can even reduce dullness in hair. Potassium and magnesium content in sweet potatoes make them great for high blood pressure patients.

Try these and let me know what you think.  Also, share any other hair friendly foods that you love below in the comments.  Love you!

I started using Donna in April of this year due to hair loss because of having Covid. I had fallen into a deep depression not only for the sickness but the hair loss. I was given your product by my daughter and oh my goodness, what a blessing! My hair has grown back even fuller, to the point I have to now get it cut off some. I have told everyone about your products and now need to order due to my husband using it. Thank you for sharing your gift.

Hi, I began using “Donna” about 3 weeks ago. I hair is braided so I can really get to my scalp. The results have been amazing. There was such a noticeable amount of new growth…I measured it and it’s over 1.5 INCHES! I use it every other morning and I am very pleased. As far as the the comments on the price, if we want something we pay what it cost. If we feel uts to much we exercise our option to buy or not to but. I’ve never gone into Walmart and because I felt an item cost to much, written a letter, email, etc.to the owners telling them to make it fit my budget!

    Hey Tab,
Thank for these products! The oil has saved my life this summer. 1st. Yes the smell is just a little strong but girl it keeps the bugs away, I put in my hair before I go out. Let me tell you the mosquitoes love me. They tear me up every year, except this one. I like the oil it reminds of the Avon skin so soft smell. Putting the oil on early in the day it soaks in my scalp all day. Then I don’t have to worry about oil on my pillow and I got the nutrients in my scalp, where it’s intended to be anyway and keeping the pesky bugs away! Girl this is a winner winner vegan chicken dinner (cauliflower bites)! The Gummy’s are like the little fishies I use to get from the candy store. Girl, I was eating 2,3,4 at a time… I’ve used both products right after I took the braids out my hair that snatched some off my edges, well they came back in a few weeks. I do feel a difference in my hair and I have less breakage. Thank You for your products. Now we need, shampoo, conditioner, a leave in conditioner detangler and styling cream and gel…all by Donna. I just got that not your mamas hair products detangler, very good. I’m finishing up Taraji’s line which I like too. Any Thank You Tab…I’m following you like a commandment! Keep up the great work and I know The Most High is blessing you which is also blessing me and many folk! Love You Girl! ❤️

I started using Donna’s recipe July 15 because my hair was FALLING (not just shedding) out by the handfuls. 42 days later, my hair is not even shedding, I have hair growth, and my hair is coming in thicker! I had tried a couple of other products over a 5 month period and nothing happened! My first application of Donna had my scalp tinkling! I trusted something good was happening and it was. I use the oil daily/every other day and am pleased with my results. My hair problems didn’t start overnight & I expected it would take more than overnight to reverse. But it was almost overnight! Patience and persistence is working for me. Thank you for sharing a product that worked for you with us. God bless you! 1 Cor:9

Dear Donna I love your product and as far as the smell don’t change a thing it’s working nicely for me and I’ve only been using it since the beginning of August. Keep doing what you are doing please don’t change a thing . Many blessings to you and your family 👪
